January - the Emita Sports is usually held on the first weekend after New Year last weekend when the Furneaux Festival is held at Lady Barron with Flinders Island Aboriginal Association

March - Tour de Flinders is a cycling event run by volunteers and assisted by Lions

Easter - there is always breakfast at the Lady Barron Hall and an Easter Bonnet parade

August - every second year is Flinders Flicks a small film festival with a theme. Entries come from all over the world!

September - The Flinders Island Running Festival - another festival, over 10 years old and run by volunteers!

October - The Flinders Island Show - a really special day for Flinders Islanders and visitors alike, run by a voluntary and dedicated Show Committee for more years than anyone can remember!

December - Quick Shear - and lots of other community ‘end-of-year’ events as we run up to Christmas
