Le Tour de Flinders was started by Lion Gordon Rorison to promote Lions International SightFirst Campaign and assist locals with fitness.  

It is a fun bike ride rather than a race and people of all levels of fitness are encouraged to participate riding as far as they are able.

The ride begins at Lady Barron, winds through Lackrana & Memana to Whitemark and back to Lady Barron to end with a healthy BBQ at “Wonderland” just past entry to Yellow Beach.  Total distance is approx. 80kms You don’t have to participate in the ride to enjoy the BBQ. 

This year our ride is dedicated to Gordon’s wife Barbara who sadly lost her battle with cancer in December last year.
